Bring the first aid kit and I'll make sure there's someone able to use it.
There's socket sets, spring compressors, several compressors, welders, plasma cutter, big hoists engine cranes, spray booth etc at the unit. If you all bring some bits/bobs like sockets etc we will be fine.
I can't do Halal but will make sure munchies for most peeps are there. I think it'll be a disposable BBQ on duty.
Looking forward to it and feeling slightly humbled by the generosity of everyone who is coming out to help me sort my car.

I've never been brave enough to fire up the O/A in the unit, but maybe it'd be good for cooking burgers on...
I have 3 grinders in my tool chest, just short on wire brushes and flap discs after everyone else used them.
Some rattle cans were delivered today, hopefully the code is right and they are saphirblau.

OK it's more of a gazebo at an angle, but if you get the fan in the right place it's pretty good.

Not a problem mate - don't pay halfrauds prices. Parflo is much cheaper, just not open on Saturday!

Parflow is never open when i'm around
I've got knot wheels, cups and nylon wheels although they are getting a little worn out now. I've got a Halfords trade card so may get some discount - still overpriced though.

I get most of my consumables from ebay and get them delivered to work - saves me having to take time out to pay over the odds for these things, buy on ebay and you normally get them in a day or two and saves any messing about. I like to buy in bulk to get the price as low as possible like cutting disks, gloves, paint etc

Hi! Newish Manc member here. Thought I'd pop in and say hello.
I would have liked to come down and help out tomorrow (absolute noob at the mech stuff, but I could have done an easy job..) but my exams are in a weeks time. Maybe I can make it next time.
Good luck!
