Anyone know of a decent bodyshop near me? (scottish borders near coldstream) I want to price up getting the body fixed, if its going to be horrendously expensive i'll do it myself :P

What ones in your opinion offer the best value for money then? Have you sold that triple webber manifold? If not I'm still interested, could you PM me about it.
Cheers

Ok so while I wait for the engine I have some time to take some pics of the exhaust and finally post them up.

So the car has now been dropped off at a local garage to get the floor pans and sills welded up, it should arrive back at the same sort of time Mark's 2.5i arrives, so i'll be able to get straight to work slotting that it. Next on the list is a short shifter, front strut brace, and suspension. But at the moment i'm completely skint so they'll have to wait.

Well there seems to be a lot of waiting around at the moment and i cant say i'm enjoying it lol. waiting for both the car and the new engine, at this rate i'm not going to have time to fit it anytime soon. Going to have to go in to the garage sometime this week and crack the whip if i get 5 mins off work!

Still no car and still no engine. My patience is wearing extremely thin with the garage that is doing the body work on my car, was only supposed to take a week, and will now be into its third by the time i get it back. Plus when i spoke to them yesterday they said it would be ready today, all they had left to do was throw the interior back in, yet i've had no phonecall to go and pick it up, don't make promises you cant keep.

Apologies for the rant.

Engine should be sat on a pallet come Monday. I know what a p.i.a it is to wait around as I've only had my car for about 2 weeks since the end of May!

Cheers, i'm not particularly bothered about waiting for the engine, as i can do nothing with it without the car! Wow only 2 weeks, i think some heads would be rolling if that was me.

yeeeeeeeees, finally the E21 has returned, and looks all the better for new sills(outer and inner), floors, de-rusted and painted back bumper and a nice t-cut.
Pictures to follow, when its not pissing it down with rain.
