Haha I don't mean to cause a debate, I love both audis and bmws and as much as i'd love an e21 again i have no one to work on it anymore so now that i know an audi man i could be better off...he has a quattro and some other old coupe, they're very nice, will photo them sometime...but i do miss this scene, so who knows what will happen...

Holy thread revival alert....this thread has been maturing away much like a vintage 6 year casked whiskey or wax cased mature chedder.......the car is now coming along nicely after having most of its panels replaced.

Will be fully revived with everything new including brakes and engine and interior etc.

After 6 years we'd expect some pics mate

Hello Cobbler!

The car is coming along nicely......its had alot of work which i did not account for......new cills....new rear quarters and turrets, boot floor....non sunroof roof panel....the list goes on.

Will be getting a full wilwood front and rear brake set up, custom wiring loom, gaz gold suspension, then i need to decide about the interior, then engine.

I have been milling over many engine choices, but i think it will be turbo'd M50 with M54 3.0 crank if that sounds correct.

Still a way to go yet but will try and get pics up on here at least.....at one point, one of the pics i got nearly made my bottom get sick.

It was not in great shape under the thick coat of body seal tar it had, i knew there would be some surprises anyway....but when i seen this pic, i nearly gave birth.
