the powder coat is a miles thicker coating dude - it can hide roughness a fair bit better . im not sure how smooth the blasting process would gets the surface tbh

Blasting leaves a pretty rough finish. powder coating will cover it but chroming will need to have all the pitting polished out.
Walloth & Nesch are asking £185 for the rear centre section & £165 for the right rear quarter (the left isn't currently listed). That would make it £515 for the complete bumper (+ rubbing strip).

im havinng some wheels blasted at the moment Eddie so ill let you know how they come back (being done at chicargo)

Hazlenut shells are pretty good and not doing damage when used in blasting.

I have seen some work done by a company in B'ham, and it is fooking SHOCKING!

that's pretty much I'm afraid of. id have to visit the platers and see examples esp if they charge good money!

Nas, I was advised by several of the local classic clubs to go to Cleveland Chrome but they no longer do car stuff. They used to sub-contract jobs to these guys so they should be able to do a good job. I was advised that a bumper corner would be in the region of £75 but remember, you can't polish a turd so the metal needs to be fairly solid before they start.
