Brake issues aside (dont worry that much - she is OLD!!), that is a good-looking car. I've never seen a black 316 before, and the colour makes the single headlamps look pretty good!
The paintwork seems really good too. So I hope you can get the brake trouble sorted out soon (sorry, I have no idea what that could be either

) and have fun driving it!
Congratulations!

Ok here goes...
Removed back hubs removed wheel cylinders removed master cylinder and servo and replaced them with parts from Donar car, checked pipes throughout, fitted, bleed, took for a good drive and.....
Yea baby!!!! One E21 on the road WOOOHOOOO!!!!
It cheered me up so much, that the bug hit me BAD hehe
Back to the garage it went and out came the knackered interior and gutted the inside, removed all the unwanted xtra wire that had been left behind the dash and last out the soundproofing from the floor .... any rust yet... NO? I keep thinking I must be forgetting to look somewhere, but hard as I try NOPE zilch,
So I bombed on and replaced it all with the lighter creme interior which I feel looks nicer with the black paintjob, ( might be an essex boy thing lol )
and thats when I got hungry so I went home happy hehe.....
Today my E21 made me Happy, the hobby game paid off, I thank thee!

Noticed you mention wheels on your webpage. I have a set of 13" silver/black BBS with brand new michelins on (not in pic), and a set of 13" Alpina style wheels with good Uniroyals as well. I have recently obtained a set of 15" BBS from jason_323i, which will be combining with a brake upgrade. As the Gold car is being scrapped, I have 2 sets of wheels too many. If you are interested in any of my wheels PM me!

Nice, but I think Im gonna go with a set of 15", not sure what kind of design but as long as their fitting with the look of the car.

Okay engine, box and prop have been removed from donor car and it has now sadly gone to heaven, please pray for the death of a sharknose.....

Okay anyway where was I , thats right the black bimmer lol
Ill get me camera out and take some updated photos, but the 'top do' list is still fairly lengthy, engine 5speed box transplant, the suspension, stainless exhaust, possibly a fancy box on the back not sure yet.
Ive now ended up with two mint bumpers on my car panels etc are all straight only cosmetics I can see is the two headlamps kind of dont match , one of them mists up and loses the sparkle that the other one has, but Im being picky now, a set of wheels and the job is almost done, except then I might get the chairs re-upholstered from somewhere, just to be a perfectionist hehe
Ill post here again when new pics are up on my page
