Brake kit now ordered also, these were the best value off the shelf kit I could find, and quite reasonably priced at £680 from corby motor sport. 296mm x 22mm with four pot calipers

Making the most of my paternity leave

getting the odd 30-45 minute sessions in the garage. Cleaning and finding the bits are taking time but it's coming together. Going to need new headlights, as these have gone cloudy. Any suggestions on the best place to get these?

Nice 'n clean! Before throwing them out you can try washing the headlights. Some washing liquid and hot water, and a blowdryer after.

Well I did this a couple of times before and used washing up liquid, just a little bit, to get rid of the greasy mist. Add hot water and a good shake and it cleans up quite ok.

Thanks

it's getting there slowly. It is a specific kit for the e21 so I am hoping so

i have got some wilwood calipers but had no brackets ect so this was an easier option for me (limited engineering skills) there is a 25-30 day lead time on them being delivered

soon as I get them I'll post the outcome here
