First I always curse.... then I'll start and pat the dashboard, say nice words to it... come to think of it, this kind of sounds like a scene from the movie "Christine"....

Well done Dave, can't believe I missed this thread! Nice when you get it working, I know that feeling well!
I definetly think the UK E21 owners need to arrange a meet this summer somewhere in the middle of the country where we can get together and show off our E21's, regardless of the condition there in (as long as they're road worthy of course!).
Your son must be enjoying the whole experience too i'd imagine! Keep us all posted with your progress.

Cannot believe how quiet the engine is. Once you have drowned out the noise from the exhaust !
Would be nice to have a meet up (all with MOT'S of course

My car gets both treatments. The rough by me, and the soft one by my friend/mechanic...
Nawww it gets more patience and some spwishing with some WD40...
Though with the chase I gave a jap crap yesterday, I HAD to pet it!
