Hey!! And now your posting pics of MY backyard....!!
2 M1's, a Z1 and a Alpina B12 (8-series)... I'm speachless....
Anyway, thank you very much for the first prize!! I guess I don't really have an excuse not to show up at Lelystad anymore...
Now I just have to convince Peter to join me...

Interesting RE the M30 Alpina....So it is front heavy and undistinguished if it has original 3 Series suspension, but great with the updated stuff. I guess the laws of physics dictate this, as I suspected; but of course Alpina would upgrade this automatically as the car was built, so the laws of phyics would be bypassed!!
And Anders, don't worry about bashing your computer - thats too expensive; the next time we see 'guest' we'll know it is you !!
I hope you find a job down here in Oz too, as that B6 looks more and more tempting each time I see it!
ARGH, just love your car, especially with that engine... must be a thrill to drive. Maybe we should go to Padborg Race Track for their track days some time, hehe. Could be a laugh...

Rasmus, I'm ready for Padborg any time - just tell me when...
Or even better - on tuesday 26th in the evening the 'Sport-section' in BMW Club Denmark have an "After Work Race Day" at Sturup Raceway just outside of Malmoe in Sweden (we meet at the Oeresund Bridge at 1500). I'm going in my B6 rep. and a mate of mine is coming along in his mint 323i!! Why don't you join us - could be a laugh if we showed up with 3 E21's and gave all the modern Beemers a run for their money...

Yeah, i've seen it on BMW-Club DK's HP and i would love to join you, but i simply don't have the money nor time to do it crap
I'm living the simple life of a student, and i'm not having a lot of $$ to do with.... and that stupid bridge, TWO stupid bridges, are in the way, they are so bloody expensive.
You just logged of MSN?

Hey, Peter that would be me
I would love to go, but as Anders I can't say I'm a 100%. There is also a few months to go, so we'll try to work something out.
Anders suggested that we made a danish e21 convoy, but with me 122hp I think I will need a headstart if we're to reach Holland at the same time
Great to see you back on the forum - you've been missing for a while now...
Wouldn't it be great if we could gather an E21 convoy for the run to Lelystad!? Oh, and don't worry about me having roughly double the power - I might be traveling a whole lot quicker down the road, but I'll also be visiting every single petrol station where you can probably settle with every fourth... I'm guessing we will arrive at Lelystad together!!

The sad part is that my car might drink just as much petrol as your beast I've rebuild the carb and it also works quit good, but it's drinking to much! At a 130km/h I'm getting about 8km/L(12,5L/100km). When driving in city traffic it's closer to 6km/L And I have a very light right food
Let's see what we can work out for that weekend in Septemper. It does sound tempting!!!!
Christ!! That's aweful!! With a rebuilt carb you should get more kilometers per liter than that... You're right - it's actually roughly the same as my fuel consumption - you poor soul...!!
Well, if it makes you feel any better, my personal best - or worst I suppose - is an average of 4,6 km/l in my B6 replica!! I've got the extra Alpina fueltank in the back of the E21, so that's 95 liters of fuel which only gave me 430 km!!!! Bet you can't beat that Peter...
Oh, btw it was done during a full weekend at the track...

Yep, it's pretty bad. Can't say I got much out of the rebuild but at least the fuel econemy isn't worse than before I "rebuild" it
It needs the care of an expect if it's to give better milage than it is now, but there isn't many people around that know how to work on these carbs
I'll bring a wire so you can pull me all the way to Holland
