huh! why did you put it that way!!

If your glovebox suddently opens for example it will break due to the weights.
I put mine at the metal frame you can see in your picture.

1: It will not open suddenly, I changed the lock a bit.
I'm not that crazy

Even on roads with the famous "kinderkopjes) it stays closed....
2: On the new glovebox, I replaced the plastic pieces to hold it open, by a little metal chain.
3: Mounting on the frame, OK, but you have to know how many space there is when the glovebox is closed, if you want to put something in it!
So no drilling, no second frame, ...... Just pure basic solution.

Little update.
I 've changed the carburettor lately. Earlier model. Much easier to adjust.
And little problem is history...
Rubber in the trunk still not replaced....
Passed the technical control with the yellow headlights...

Little update:
Replaced the red "BMW" plate between the taillights by an original black "louvered" one.
Found a nice and clean rubber for the trunk.
Thanks Leon!
So stripping the old one, cleaning and mounting the new one.

@ retroBeemer:
Didn't you know your wife had a twin sister, the beautiful one?
@ loentje: I bought it in a normal cartuning shop in Bruges.
14 euro if I'm not wrong.
So everyone can SEE an old radio, and HEAR a nice sound....
