not to be a downer on things but did they remove the front windscreen when they did your rust patch and weld it up properly? just that when i was slyly inspecting your paint when at the ace i noticed a little bubble round that area, might rust up again pretty quickly.

Yeh they defo removed the windscreen and welded in new metal in the bit that holds the screen in and the rest I believe they sand blasted back to bare metal and painted up from that... I'm gonna go and inspect that windscreen tonght now, you got me worried!!

Just checked it, and seen where you are talking about higher up the windscreen frame on the drivers side yeh? My bodyshop guy pointed that out and mentioned it could spread, he also said if I give him more £ extra he'd get that cut out and sorted too. I was just too broke and I thought something that small (literally a couple of mm's) couldn't cause to many problems and that he was trying to get more cash out of me!
As i'm writing this I'm getting a feeling that it will come back and bite me in the backside though!

Here's photo's of the donor car.. it's actually a really nice car, shame it's gonna be pillaged for it's engine!
All the bits on the car will be up for sale soon, so if you see anything you want let me know now. The leathers are already for sale in the for sale section.
