2 things.
1: the fan does not fit on a type 2 front. You need to reshape the lower beam between the engine supportbars.
2. Why not a new master brakecilinder? On the price of the restoration it is next to nothing.

But you make the parts better than new!!

Thanks for the Information. I know that there is a difference between type 1 and 2 but i saw one type 2 with a fan from type 1 so i hope it will fit. I cant look because the car is at the paintshop.

My masterbrake cylinder doesnt have any leaks so i did not change the seals. I did only renew the outside

Congratulations for everything, your daughter and you car! The paint work looks fabulous. Just one question, why didn't you remove the door hinges?

Oh but since you were spraying it I thought you remove them and spray them on their own and then re-attach them to the body. So when I spray my car I should leave them on?

Well your car looks amazing so I'm going to do what you did. If I may ask please. When you hey sprayed the inside of the car, everything looks removed in your photos dashboard and all, did you also remove that stuff that goes under the headlining, it's like a yellow insulation thing and there are also tear hard pads which are on the rear part where the back of the back seat attaches, they look like hard pieces of tar and sprayed the same colour as the car. Mine are full of cracks which I filled in with liquidy gummy runner that become slightly hard when it dries, like a dum dum replacement. What's your take on it?
