I have a paint code 2212 but I can't find it corresponding to a BMW circa 1981?? Has anyone got any idea??

Could be either Golf Green, Jade Green or Mint Green.

It's the code for my orange car that I'm after.

Tempted to say it's Henna, but it's a bit more 'orangey' than that:

the colour chart info I've seen doesn't have an orange or similar solid colour. What does the plate say under the bonnet? Perhaps the car has been repainted in a custom shade?

It's been repainted as it used to be blue and the code the bodyshop had was 2212. It just doesn't seem to correspond to any paint codes I can find?

Is it a RAL colour code rather than a BMW/car one??

Hopefully it'll be here over the next few days. Just needs some paintwork and assembly as far as I can tell.

To be honest, alpinas are like a gentlemans race car, in reality i prefer a schnizter but never talked about it, those schnitzer engines are more course then alpinas, better raced. in my opinion.... alpina, its just the name that sounds good ... sorry not knocking anyone if anything my car has everything from an original alpina. someone offers me good squid im up for it.

and im not stupid.

Well it should be here tomorrow. It's all in bits though and needs a fair bit of paint work. It's all there though and 100% original.
