Drove 260 miles back from Cornwall 'quickly' whilst watching a 350Z struggle to keep up.

Found some cheap second-hand Wilwoods for the track car (unused too!) but need to order braided hoses. Also bled the clutch again after fitting a close ratio gearbox. It works really well with the M42 although it's a bit clattery in 1st so probably due a rebuild. Just need to swap on new rims and tyres and finish fitting Stack dash in time for Goodwood sprint event on August 6th & Retro Rides at Brands on the 1st.
Also on the lookout for a low ratio diff to convert if anyone has one please?

I got driven mental - again - by Christine style electrical faults that have been conspiring to spoil my enjoyment of MIB. It seems - so far anyway - that was down to the bloody hazard switch! WTF?? How do these pesky little blighters manage to cause so much hassle? I've whipped it out, bridged the indicator wires, and all SEEMS to be OK again.
Time will tell.
I also spent a couple of hours marveling at just how shoddy Fritz Tits work is. Incredible. John Wayne had bugger all on those guys when it comes to being a cowboy.

I fixed almost all of the MOT fail points on the Baur, also had Christine style wiring issues with fuel gauge and pump which then required several swear words when the back seat wouldn't go back in.

Got through several hundred of those myself.
There just seems to be so many wires! Surely lights, wipers, indicators and ECU don't need eleventy million bloody wires? I reckon 30 should be enough surely?

Changed springs on track car for 250lb rears & 350lb front. Also fitted a slimmer type of perch and the spring itself is considerably narrower. Part of the previous problem was where the suspension had been originally fitted the springs had no was of being kept in place at the top and the helper springs hadn't been fitted at all. It's all much better now and feels a fair bit firmer than before. Camber is now 2.5 degrees negative with toe at 2mm I think.
