i went to the mosque in my e21.

It was gone midnight and very quiet on the roads. I decided a blast was in order. I had a great time.

I can't wait to get the 2.8 24v out of my e36 donor car and into my e21. Hopefully ill change my mind about selling my e21 then.

Decided to swap out the single headlights for twins in the track car for the complete County look.

Mmm, does this mean the singles are up for sale sir ?

gonna repair the middle reading light and check the glovebox and hood lights if i even have them XD

had a new exhaust/pea shooter fitted to the 316 after the last back box was in a seriously sorry state and finally let go thursday. had to get a garage to do it as i couldn't get the bolts off for the life of me. on picking it up the bloke said it was an arse of a job to get the bolts out! he said it was a nice car though

Notice the labeling of the speakers, i was so glad when i saw that, otherwise i had to measure them out

Managed to get down to a 1.03 @ Brands. Not going to break any records but 5 secs off my best.

Gave the Baur a quick going over with some G3 and a rotary polisher, needs doing properly when Shaun gets back from his travels as a digger driver on the railways, but for the time being it looks OK. Bent the exhausts a bit so they don't rattle against the mountings - not happy with the exhaust, may go for a single pipe solution eventually, but it works for now. Fixed the wonky foglight, apart from the squishy brake and clutch I think it's ready to pass MOT. Will be driving it down to bluebell BMW tomorrow where the service manager knows older cars and is going to give it a once over, sort the hydraulic problems, and MOT it on Wednesday. sadly I am working Weds-Fri so won't be able to pick it up until saturday!

Well yesterday anyway.

I removed the exhaust system, exhaust manifolds, propshaft, differential, driveshafts. All in preperation for the axle mods & new engine.

Going to meet some other guys at a meeting of a Greek BMW forum I am a member.

Maybe "mikepower" or what's his username in here joins as well (E21 with an M5 motor, I don't know more, but I want to see this car for sure!!!)

As Athens is living its "emptiest" period (August), maybe we'll go for a short drive afterwards...
