Losing all the brake linkage is the thing I'm looking forward to most.

I hope this pedal box works out really. I had to do some sums and I think it'll work well.
Going to run the Willy's first and then do the rx7 calipers a bit later on in the year..
I really hate messing about with brakes. In theory simple but in real life a total pain in the behind.

Are you deleting the rear plastic panel between the lights?

no i will keeping that as I think an e21 looks really odd without that plastic bit. hmm.. thinking maybe I could get Mal to fill the holes in and could stick it back on with number plate double sided tape?

I normally don't like the rear plastic bit being deleted, but in your cars case it might actually suit it. But yeah, should you want it on double sided tape is a good idea. I'd be tempted to try a smoothed off perspex plastic panel instead. I think one of our eastern european members did it and it looks a lovely subtle update.

I did consider sticking the alpina / bbs / zender front spoilers and foha spoiler etc stuff on my car to make it look more "sporty" but i really like the way my car looks like a standardish 316. thats why i havent stuck the twin exit or the the twin headlights etc on either. If i changed the panel to a smooth type or got rid totally it would make the back end lose some of its original features. so i think im going to leave the styling as BMW intended.
I can change my mind later on I suppose.
Following on from a conversation on another thread I thought I would add info on the braking system, just in case anyone reads this while looking for more info on brake bias boxes.
the front calipers are the wilwood powerlights and the rears are stock 323i disk brakes and calipers.

Rear

Master Cyl Dia 0.625 0.7
Brake pedal input force 110 lbs
Brake pedal ratio (usually 3) 6

Rear Master Cylinder Force= 247.5 lbs

Trying to find me more work to do lol !!!
I also like the rear plastic trim but think yours could pull off the smooth look mate. If you moved you plate there you would have to find a neat place for the lamps and your back bumper would need modding so it didn't have the recess in the middle.
