Thanks guys..

I got thinking that since its a bare shell, I may as well change the colour too. The bronzit was a nice classy colour but i was just bored of it. I spent many hours looking for inspiration.

This is pretty sad, for the last couple of weeks, ive had a postcard size sample of this colour on me, ive just pulling out the card randomly under various times of the day, various levels of sunshine and even had a look while under street lights and a petrol station forcourt to see how it looked

Yeh agreed mate hopefully most of them will finish in time for tge summer and we can get as many together as possible at a good meet somewhere......

8th of June, Sharknose Meeting in Holland

Cheers lads. building a car up from a pretty much a bareshell means that i have such a massive list of parts that need ordering and an even bigger list of jobs to do. this is just some of it.

help Mal reassemble my car,
start on the wire extending / loom routing
Fully steam clean the underside / and then underseal
finish off the engine cooling system modifications
prepare the engine for the bay (mechanically and cosmetically).
get some new silicon hoses made
take petrol tanks off / fit new fuel lines
fit the new e12 rear axle stuff and strengthen boot mount.
all new copper brake hoses and braided lines inc work out all the AN fittings ill need.
final tweaks for the pedal box and get it mounted
general engine swap related stuff.
gearbox short shifter linkage.
make engine and gearbox mounts for m3 gearbox
electric speedo conversion
get the interior back in
bumpers refurb
order wider dishes for my rims
polish and clean everything - get the bolts and nuts all recoated
setup suspension again (different spring rates)
fix unexpected problems

I dont think ill be finishing all this to make the e21 show in essex. I think the sharknose meet is probably a better show to aim for really.

Love that colour!

Nas that is one awesome job you are doing there love the colour, wish i had your mechanical skills

more pics - Mal needs a better camera hes using his phone, i used the auto levels feature on photoshop on these because the photo are its a bit over exposed due to the light in the booth but it made them a bit grainy.

Prefect colour pal gets better and better Wish it was mine.

Certainly a nice colour for the E21. can't wait to see the finished product.
