I agree. I've seen one in holland for one tenth of the price, although cant be compared condition wise to this beauty. Same colour combination too interestingly. I'm still planning a trip to Holland or Germany to pick one of these up. Left hookers in the U.K are quite hard to come by. Give me a couple of months if i don't find anything in the U.K. It will be good to meet in person too J if you're around

Yeah I considered this one too. Rust sounded a little too much and it's right hand drive. I mean who on earth would want that in the U.K?!
I'm going to be following that thread with interest though - good on him. There seems to be a guy who can custom make panels on RR too. Will definitely be putting him on my favourites list too!

Quick update - ok to keep this thread going here Jereon?
Anyway, touch wood I have finally bought an E3. Its poverty spec, but I was more interested in a solid shell. By luck I've managed to find an E3 3.3li parts car, so it will donate a lot of the luxuries to this one if all goes well. Speaking of which, there will be an 'E3 teardown' on the 5th and 6th January in Manchester. Nas and Problem Child have very kindly offered to help. anyone else like to lend a hand? I can't promise dancing girls, but I will feed all that do turn up!

Thanks Jeroen

. no should be with me by mid jan. I'll have the 3.3li parts car in a week or so. Seems a shame to break it, so depending on how bad the shell is I will decide from there. I'll post some photos of the Li too, it's not too pretty though!

Lovely E3!!! Looks beautiful and solid.
Should you fancy fitting an E34 M5 engine in it then I know where to find one, maybe even including a donor E3 around it
Keep us posted on your adventures!
Greetz,
Walter.
