Thanks fellas :) my dad has been working he's butt off on this for me with regards to the paintwork ect (Retired panel beater) so I can only take a little credit for it ;)
I made a bit of a cock up with regards to the powder coating bits - they were supposed to be satin and come back gloss (brake assembly, scuttle panel & anti roll bar) but decided I quite like it so did the servo and master cylinder to match :thumbsup. Brake pipes and clutch pipes to be made tomorrow, refit the wings and front panel & bumper then I can start thinking about fitting the engine- although this will now have to match the cleanliness of everything else that's been done. This just chuck an m52 in has gone a bit far but hopefully worth it in the long run lol

Some nice new shiny bits arrived today ;) i purchased these from tengu drift on Facebook, they were able to get the spring rates I wanted and they were about £80 cheaper than anywhere else I looked - highly recommended them and their services

Got a few more bits back from the powder coaters :) so managed to get the rack cleaned and put back together with new rubbers. Just waiting for new gaitors to arrive and that's another job ticked off the list

Thank you - it's starting to come together now :) I've gone for standard ones for now, but will upgrade to poly later in the year - I'm going to put a quick rack in as soon as funds allow.
Have you already started your swap?

Nop, i´m after all the pieces, like the m50b25 sump and intake and the engine it self, lool... Where are you going to get the quick rack, and how much did it cost?
Did you fabricate the engine mounts? My mechanic says that m30b35 e28 engine mounts should fit without major mods...

Sourcing the parts took me a while too, the steering rack has not been purchased yet and I'm not sure on the cost but there is a company in the UK that does them apparently. Soon as funds allow I will investigate further. As for the engine mounts I have used the alloy mounts from the m20 with standard (new) m20 rubber mounts, the engine will be going in very soon so will be able to report on the success of this set up ;)
