Mat, Windy... Now I'm reading your replies, and I must say that... I'm confused.
I don't know anything more about this "Omega/Senator/Commodore/Hsv problem"
What a mess
Let's forget about it

Opel Omega!! Isn't it obvious??!!

Thats the best looking VN I ever have seen!!!
Since back in the days of the VB commodore it has been based off the european opel platforms, this was started by the very well known ex Holden GM Peter Hananberger who revolutionised the australian built family car market.
Since then we have used the same platform with changes (VB-VZ) as the euro counterparts.
As for HSVs, they are a vaguely seperate company who takes a standard commodore and adds their bits to it, IMO I wouldnt buy a HSV as they still are a holden and for the money saved I could build a nice SS. That aside though for an aussie car I give them credit, 6L V8 decent build quality and for an aussie effort a pretty good taxi.
But give me an M5 anyday

Yep no Omega but a Senator.
Mr Jocke... nice set of front lights... you'll probably need them there.
Looking at the rear I would say it's a "R" and not a tdi...

Hi
The front is from "R" and the rear is from "R" AWD I can say that there has been many confuisons(don`t know if it´s the right spelling) about my tdi.
Many petrol turbos has been left in the smoke....It´s really fun.
It consumes about 0,65l/10km.

It's my father's car actually

But it's what I occasionally drive besides my E21. Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 from October 2005. I especially like the warmed seats.
