cheers for the kudos.. what can i say except i have an understanding wife :)

i have been a little scuppered this week, theres going to be snow over the weekend, so i wont be able to pour the concrete in. Now im delayed a week in building the garage. plenty of stuff i can be getting on with in the meantime I suppose.

Cobbler - the colour is called "champagne quartz metallic" its from the new range of BMW individual colours. i was going to go for a Chip Foose glasurit colour first but then i found out it cost £495+vat per litre, haha no thanks Chip.

Any decent paint will give you the same results.
It depends on how good the guy is doing the job, and how he finshes his job. :thumbsup

All these guys over in the US love to blow their own trumpet. :screwy

Absolutely agree..

Mal is going to lay a few coats of laquer on over base coat, then colour sand then spray a couple of more coats of laquer and then another sanding then final flat n polish. That should hopefully mean I get a really deep shiny finish.

Not going 2K then?
Only downside I find to base ans clear coat is when you have chips, scratches and stonechips.
It's difficult to repair the clear this way.

2k, just needs repaint area, and buff to a shine.

I don't know if you can get paint like this in 2k?

I'm not planning on gettin damage, Might have to stick that clear 3m stuff in strategic places..
