Re: -- ACE - CAFE --
Went last night; what a joke! no marshalls, so any old cr#p was parking up. I don't consider an Audi A3, Audi TitTy, Chrysler Crossfire, a Punto or a frickin' BINI BMW/Merc related.
If a BINi's a BMW I should take my mate's MG-ZT next time, seeing as they had a BMW designed floorpan and were owned by BMW at the time.
What a waste of petrol.

Classic Night at the Ace on Tuesday 11th Jan; also happens to be award night for Retro Rides forum, where I happen to be nominated for two awards, not bad for someone who doesn't follow all the rules...

I might. If it's a) not raining and b) not too cold.

Pah! My E21s been out in the cold and rain (not the snow) without a hitch. Mind you, I've got a pressure washer, I've driven the car up two ramps on one side (like a kerb) and given it a good going over. That and it lives in a garage make a whole heap of difference.

It's not my car getting wet & cold that bothers me. I just don't find North London car-parks are too high up on my 'places to be' list in early January.

OK, so who's going on Tuesday?
Re: -- ACE - CAFE --
It's going to be the first time I've missed an awards night, I'm away on business in Bath.

Re: -- ACE - CAFE --
It turns out I did stop by for 5mins as the A406 was directly on my route last night! Cars looked good, especially Mark's rims...

Pics from Classic Night/RR awards night (photos from various sources). And no, I didn't win either of my nominations. Oh well.

MX5-powered. Nice.

It says 'Jack Knight' on the windscree. Sounded like it too.

And some more:

Borgward Isabella Combi. rare as the proverbial.

The guy I bought my latest E21 off had something similar to this. Nicccce.

This was parked in the street; window sticker said Vegantune. Yum yum.
