Is anyone using the adjustable rear trailing arm bushes?

Rear Trailing Arm Offset Flange Cotton Reel Bush &
2.75mm offset Stainless Steel Tube, Camber & Toe Adjustable

I've been having some ECU / fueling issues today. Massive over-fueling and despite huge flame outs on over-run - which look good but hardly ideal - I have re-fitted a standard ECU / chip. It still seems to be a bit rich though so am guessing the AFM might need some attention? Am I correct in thinking I can re tension the spring if I move the wheel around on its mount? I know some people say that it's not possible to do anything with them once they start playing up but know it can be done somehow.

I found adjustable rear bushs did not give enough adjustment on my car, the lower you go the more adjustment you need

Well I got the mounts above for free so will try them first. I imagine fitting them will be fun?

Fitting can be fun as if you follow the bmw procedure for eccentric bushes you need to calculate the required angle to fit the bush as once you fit it it does not want to rotate.

Also toe kills the tyre more than camber

Good day at Northampton Motorsport.

Corner weighted the car and did wheel alignment etc etc.

F/N/S F/O/S
300.5 315

R/N/S R/O/S
261.5 265.5

49.5% weight distribution

Total weight - 1141.5 Kg

Managed to sort the fueling issues and reverted back to standard ECU chip prior to fitting Schrick 290* cam.

168.3 bhp @ 6 100rpm

172.4 lb ft torque @ 3 700

The torque curve is nice and flat between 3000 and 5 200 and the engine pulls really cleanly. Considering it's a stock engine and well over 20 years old I am well pleased wth the results. As soon as I work out how to get my scanner working I'll post the print-out.

The last dyno it went on supposedly gave 186 I think it was? I'll try and find the print-out but after today Im not convinced it was accurate.
Have gone right through the whole inlet side and checked for air leaks etc and sorted a problem with the barn door in the AFM. It was over fueling at idle and also high in the rev band but it's pretty much spot on right through now.
I've had to go back to standard ECU chip as the Racing Dynamics one has fried along with the ECU it was in? I tried the chip I got from you last year too but just couldn't get it to run right either. In the end, it was just easier to revert to standard until I can bin the Motronic all together.

Nowt wrong with motronic even with a new cam just get it custom remaped.

You would be lucky to get a stand alone for less than £750 by the time you fit it and sort the wiring.

Sal at evolve done back to back testing on a stock engine with motronic and stand alone without the airflow meter and found about 4bhp at the top end and how offten are you on WOT.

Spend the dosh on a six brach buy the stripped 323i on ebay swap the manifolds and sell it again
