Well, not really one day's work, but the last few days while off work.
Stripped down brake system, checked master cylinder, lubricated all linkages, skimmed front disks, reassembled and bled system...pedal no longer binding but going to floor. Bled system through 4 times with no success. Stripped rear drums and replaced brake cylinder. Problem solved.
Stripped interior, soundproofing, roof lining and trim in readiness for cage...

Went down to RSR and repaired the fracture on my exhaust. Moved a couple of hangers too and it's absolutely spot on now. Drove home in torrential rain trying to keep it facing the right way with suicidal HGV drivers either side of me.

Today (hopefully) driving away from the electrician having new Electric windows and locks fitted, and a couple of electric issues looked into (headlights need setting-to send beam a bit higher, and a power supply will be changed-hoping this will solve to issue with the radio turning off and on when pushing the brakes during idle speeds)
Can't wait...!!!!!
PS-Oh, and my old sony cd-changer removed from the trunk as it is not in use any more (Alpine head unit)-and kept for another family car (with compatible current head unit)

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
Well yesterday i took delivery of Mark's E21 shell that will be his next track car and spent the afternoon cutting and chopping and extending my engine loom to hide and re-route it as much as possible - took ages to do and still not finished and haven't tried to fire it up either so could be a major headache if it doesn't run after all of this!!
I have before and after pics but not worth posting them really, i'm sure you all know what an engine looks like.
Hopefully 2012 will be the year i get to drive my car again.

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
Yesterday I met Mr Edd - who has kindly agreed to take my 316 shell off my hands! Later in the afternoon I went down to Jim's old workshop to rescue my old M10 head and some related bits and pieces. I'm going to rebuild it at home as a sort of winter project - I've never had a head apart before so it should be a good learning experience for me.

Yesterday had an interior switch added, for the locking system, in order to lock or unlock doors from the inside...

MIB is off having paint so running around in the 02 instead. Fridge magnets & stickers soon to be available in most colours. I'll stick a link up once it's ready.
