got 2 bike cans the other night

Image

they look sweet offered up to the rear bumper, just gotta get them fitted now

Got the boys all on polishing the wheels the other night but we ran out of sandpaper which sucks donkey dong! got some more now though so will be continuing after work

Image

The diff is fully welded now and put back in the car and it is a right pain to push around the carpark now!
all the interior welding is complete so just gotta patch the outside. then its trade plate time ready to go down to predator or powerflow which ever is cheapest and get the backbox's fitted up

then its time for....... wait for it........ M.O.T. time!

to be honest the polishing job isnt that great, after doing the 7" dish's on my image split rims i hate polishing wheels with a vengance and havent really got time to be doing it, they look much better than before though and once the centers are black and my yokohama's are mounted up should look much better!

the rear strut brace for the car has arrived now so will try and get that mounted at some point over the wknd aswell

gotta love some transformer references on old cars. the bike can have the valves in still?

there not the ones with valves, bloke i went to see had shed loads of random old bike cans, the ones with valves where too fooked, these came up much better and had a bigger internal bore aswell so although not quite as cool would benifit the car more i think

fecking result!!!!!!!

when down to see Faz at specialist tyres and he has a set of very worn toyo 888's. he has dontated them to the project and should give me the launch i need now up the straight
Image

also the strut brace i finally got round to offering up and its god damm perfect!!!!! will write up a little group buy thing in a min
Image
obviously this isnt fitted to the car yet but should sit nice n tight. gonna be hard to bolt on but will weld nicely

finally all the wheels are ready for tyres now, still have to paint the centers but this is no problem with the tyres on. the polishing looks crap in the sunlight though, the original scratches in the metal are way too deep and im a little annoyed with myself. might get them professionaly done at some point but for now its all good!

was gonna just run straight pipes outs the rear on no silencers just the middlebox as it sounded awesome when we tried it but the bike cans came up free. costs an extra £20 to get them fitted but i think worth the money.

as it is now a sunny day today and hopefully later this evening im gonna get to work tonight and get the prop on the car properly with the bolts and the tyres should be done at lunch time, the only thing that is holding me up now is the brake pipe on the front aslong as the rest of the brake system bleeds ok. really cant wait to smoke my first doughnut in this bad boy!

fair play, you cant say no if its free! and yes straight pipes out the back with just the middle box does sound amazing, especially when they are two 3" pipes :)
