haha luckily no, just some fairly rotten sound deadening. definitely wouldnt have touched the car if it was bad enough to have plant life growing in it...

Was contemplating de-bumpering the car, what do you think guys?

I think it's a good look, especially with BBS spoiler. I did toy with the idea of making some quarter bumpers like the Mk1 Escorts.

Yeah i do like it, will maybe wait and do it when i get the paint sorted so that anything lurking underneath can be sorted at the same time. Problem is, once they're off, they're off because I think the captive nuts or bolts (whichever) will break because they all nicely rusted.

Got round to de-bumpering the car today, and almost got it done, but came across a bloody annoying problem.
Pulled all the sound deadening out the boot, but half of it remained where it was, so now i have a fluffy boot!Is there an easy way to get rid of it, or will i just have to scrape it all off?
Image
such a stupid problem to have, basically i have to grind the last bolt off in the boot thats holding on the rear bumper, but i dont want to set the boot on fire!

Anyways this is what the front looks like, an improvement i think:

And i've been promised the engine will be on a pallet tomorrow morning, happy days. Except i go to uni on saturday...

No bumper look really suits that front spoiler though. What is it? Looks a bit more unusual than the normal one's we see.

It's a kamei spoiler, and its pretty buggered, but its staying on until it disintegrates

Your engine arrived today :D cheers
unfortunately not going to have any time to fit it whatsoever, so will be done during the xmas holidays.
