Update time,

Took a trip to the rolling road to get the Emerald ECU setup correctly:







And the numbers a very nice for a Standard M30B34 from my old 1983 E24:

And more parts ready to go back on the car:



Partially re-varnished wood, couple of coats left to go:

Some shiny exterior parts fitted:

Forgot to update this in the lead up to SN2018

Fitted the rest of the glass




Clean up the gauges and fitted the dash





Front chrome going on

Some carpet going in the boot and some interior




The seats and door cards all needed recolouring from cream back to the original blue (this takes a lot of time)



Missed taking more pics of the colouring process but they needed a good 4/5 coats after cleaning etc.
Then a good feed to get them supple again.

At Sharknose we saw the wheels Willem has made as Alpina replica's ( https://www.classicbmwparts.nl/en_GB/c-4364603/new/ )and decided to go for a set ( much cheaper than spending 2500 on 40 year old wheels needing a refurb)




Then fitted to the car



New stereo and speakers fitted (not original but they sound good and we have bluetooth etc now)




And the final external touch being the CSI decals (or as I call it "war paint")

Engine bay stickers fitted



We got that all done for the BMWCCGB national show at Gaydon in August 2018

Washed and ready the night before with Taiga Thunder on the trailer as well (must update this as well)



The weather wasn't kind for the show but still a good turnout
