Bend it out the way or is it the tube itself? If so, you can remove and twist the tube or even cut down. Remember to shorten the dipstick too though.

Bend it - that's what we had to do on the slug.

Washed and vacuumed the car. It was looking sorry for itself.

Then I went for an hour long cruise through the mean streets of Bristol. Got lots of thumbs up :)

took Herman out on the "mean streets" (not) of Douglas with Jack my 9 year old

for a car wash - that has a good under chassis wash

Tyres pumped up 28 fronts 29 rears

gave it a quick wax and hoover inside when I got back

got plenty of odd looks (and admiring ones) don't think it was the new stripe kit- we reckon it was because it looks as if Jack is driving (being LHD!)- we will take his WII steering wheel out with us next time to help the illusion................

I was going to take my new 320 over to Mark's this morning to collect my new wheels and to give Mark a chance to see what she looks like.Well,i got as far as the local BP.I popped in for a cup of Wild Bean and came out to see a copper, who,i mistakenly thought, was admiring the gleaming white paint and mint interior.
As Kiley would say,"i should be so lucky".
"This yours,mate?",he asked.
"Yes,i bought it yesterday",says i.
"Its very nice...No tax"says he.
"Yeh,but....."
"I hope you aint thinking of going anywhere in it as thats a definite nick".
"I know but......."
"No buts."
"Its insured and mOT'd and the Log book as gone to Swansea".
"Its not taxed".
"So if i take it home you won't nick me".
"No".
I went home.

I spent an hour or so upside down in the footwell of the slug today, got the new cylinder rod connected to the clevis on the bias bar, but the bar/clevis are now cross threaded and I can't get it back together. Will have to get the threads tapped so they fit together again, then install rear cylinder by screwing the bias bar in the required distance, then spin the clevis for the front cylinder to the right place, and connect it up to the pushrod. For some reason I can get at the front cylinder connections quite easily, but the rear cylinder is almost totally inaccessible.

Jim had the same problem with the m3, used a loop of flex for the connection to the master from a bulkhead fitting in the pedal box frame, so I could drop out the master out make the connections then bolt it back in

Haven't touched the E21 for some time now, but I've been busy updating the entire website. Just added the last page I had planned for quite some time already, providing some info and nice pics on the Group 5 racecars. http://www.bmwe21.net/?page_id=496

very very nice! :thumbsup but there is something I don't understand

"Even though a smaller car was used as a basis...."

do you mean a e21 was used, wich was a little smaller in size?
