Finally found some new mirrors. I think these are pretty rare but, depending how they look on the car, I think I'm going to paint them black or orange?

It was pointed out on Saturday that my engine bay on my car was a bit grubby. As I had an hour free I thought I'd give it a go with a bucket & sponge. All it did really, was hi-light the parts that need re-painting like the servo!

Anyway, before...

Engine bay cleaning's a very addictive thing. What started out as a simple timing belt and oil change on my new car turned into an engine bay cleaning, painting song-and-dance. Worth it though, definitely added value to the car.

The photos don't really do justice to how much better it looks. Once my hoses come I'm going to repaint bits like the servo although I don't want to go too beserk as it's still a daily driver as opposed to a garaged show car.

I'm going away in 2 weeks and so my cars going over to RPM for the brake, chassis & steering upgrades. After that, I'm leaving it alone and am just going to enjoy driving it throughout the Summer. Once winter comes I'll finish the interior and start on the engine.
