Yeah it's staying the same colour. Should be about 4 weeks or so. Took it to Lee at Body and Design in Salford, a lot of my mates have had work done there so I've got a good few recommendations.

*** Progress Update***
I went down to the bodyshop this morning to catch up with Lee and how the car is doing, he's made good progress and I'm now very excited for it to be finished and back with me!
Doors:
Lower valance smoothed off for a cleaner front end:
Bonnet, which is like the face of the moon really, Lee is working wonders on it though:
Repaired lower chassis rail:
Remember the big hole in the passenger footwell? All gone:
Few bits and pieces around the car:
New lower rear quarter:
The hole behind the pedals, all welded and sealed up
New arch to inner wing join:
And a couple of the car as a whole
All very exciting!
I'll go back next weekend to see it again, by which point it should be primed and ready for paint

It's great to suddenly see so many UK cars getting the full monty when it comes to restoration.

My thoughts exactly, a lot of projects there atm, btw here in Holland as well, nice to see! I need to go over them one day to collect some more pics for the FAQ section... common weakpoints...
Anyway, nice to see this one's on full speed ahead as well, keep us posted!

Looking good! Fabulous colour; would be nice to restore it back to standard (including the steels) but you'll want to put a 5 speed box it it - they're unbelievably low geared. I had a V reg one years ago and it felt like it was about to explode over 60!
