Hi Jeroen,

Yeah I also still hope and plan to show up at Lelystad, but I just can't say for sure yet... You see, we're quite a few Danes that plan to drive up to Norway for the weekend 10th-11th Sept. for a full weekend on the Vaaler Racetrack with BMW Car Club Norway. I've never been on this track before, but my Norwegian friends tell me that it's possibly the coolest track in Norway - apparently a miniature-'Ring'.

Have a look at these pics from another Norwegian racemeet...

Anyway, I'm not sure that I can find the money for both events in the same month, but we shall see....

Well for the time being i´m working on roofing one of the buildings. So far i have made the following work:
-Wiechers strut bar installed painted satin black,
-Alpina front spoiler painted "macau blau" and mounted,
-Chromed sidemouldings,
-sound proofing the interior(fixing the squeeking around the radio - nice!)

Next project will be:
-New gaskets on injectors(leaking)
-Rust work(found some more places :-( )
-new rear lenses,
-new front tires,

I will post pics when i find out how to do it!

Hey Senior Ras - we want pics!! I'm especially looking forward to seeing the ol' Beast with the Alpina frontspoiler - not to mention the engine bay with the strut brace...

Regarding your next projects, the rear lenses should be a quick job as I gave you a set of brand new lenses  but remember to change the seals while your at it...

Uhm... where did you find rust...?? Did I hide anything from you?? :?

What's wrong with the front tires? - they're almost brand new...

Anyway, hope you're still having fun with the ol' girl...

I will take some pics this weekend, but how do i put them up here?

As far as rust i have found in both front tower area that needs attention, and on the rear wheel inside fenders. When i get it made i have at set of plastic covers that will be mounted.

Front tires have a flat spot, maybe from braking. Since i drove it home i wondered what the shaking/vibration came from. We spun the wheel in a balancer and discovered that both front wheels had a flat spot. Maybe i can make the tire fitter turn some mm,s off the tread to compensate. Hope that will remove it.

I talked to Preben, and he did not have any standard 2002 engines.

Oy.... Ras!!

Where are all those pics you've promised??

I've got to see that Alpina frontspoiler fitted to the ol' Beast....

Pics of those engine mods you mentioned would really be cool too....
The ol' girl was fast enough back when I had her - but she must really fly now!!

Yep goes alot better now, but still only 190 bhp? Gobs of torque though! Right know a have the right 843 cylinder head on my workbench, and a set of E34 M5 throttle bodies:-) I´m looking into a 296 or 304 degree cam, and a another engine management system(no AFM just airbox)

How do i put pictures in here?

3.5 conversion

How is the under steer in the corners? How noticeable is the extra weight? I've considered doing that swap, but I'm leery of changing the distribution. Super cool looking 3 :)
