We puted Bilstein B6 in fi51 (323i) struts and vented ATE discs, ferodo brake pads, and earlier widened brake calipers

Image

but everything was not bolt on.
wheel hubs from old 48 struts don't fit 51struts,
exhaust system is partly from e30 partly from supersprint for alfa romeo...

Image

K-jet is behaving stupidly...
on idle and up to 3000rpm is just fine and then is cut off. :(

and we fitted front bbs and LSD

we have little problems with fuel pump and fuel gauge sensor and that would be it.

car is handling wery well and I'm very happy with fuel consumption.
3.45 final gear ratio is overkill!

That is not possible because geometry of the wheels.
If rear end goes more down, toe get more positive anad castor more negative and that is very tricky in wet conditions...

Before swap I was driving those bravuris on lower rear end than now is for 2500-3000km and iner side of tyre is already outworn 3mm's more than outer side.

you need adjustable rear camber bushes and bolts

http://www.iapdirect.com/product.php?productid=42000

these are more local

although a man of your skill can probably make these easily

It's very heart warming to see the love, attension and dedication you've put into this dear old E21. I also find it refreshing with schemes like Europes Scrappage scheme in Germany and in the UK colouring peoples opinions of old cars and promoting this dispoable car culture and 'rampant consumerist society we live in today.

and today during wheel change, i noticed left rear shock is covered with black grease... probably the shock is leaking. but it's working good so far.
