haha i forgot all about this thread! it still cracks me up. the dude was taking the piss, i met him in oz and this was a car he picked up for parts. it was on blocks and the spare wheel was setup like that. those arent wheel bolts and the tennis ball is there cos theres nothing behind it...
the dudes actual car is real nice, with good tasteful mods.

yeah ive seen those before. Ireland engineering do some too, and there are oem bmw parts (from a 5 series i think) that you can also use if going that way. im not too keen to buy bits and do slotted mounts when i can just get a plate welded on that has a couple of holes in it. with the slotting and welding a washer trick, id rather not do that too, as it would only give me one setting. also, excessive slotting can cause the bushes to bind as they're no longer aligned like they should be.
