Are the wheels in the original shots 15's? Car is sitting quite low at the front! Are the struts shortened or do they bottom out much?

Yeh they are 15's it's apparently lowered 40mm all round, but to me it looks like 60 at the front and 40 at the back. Though that could be because the front shocks are knackered!

Another pic for the 'roof rack pervs!' :D

Image

I've had that rack for approx 15-20 years, only put it on to keep the carpet and interior trim off the floor of the workshop. Personally can't see the point of spending bucks making a car go faster then whacking .10cd on the drag factor by plonking a mobile scrapyard on the roof (and I've seen a couple of choice fashion victims at shows this year! )

Sorry, will get off my Old-s****l, r*tr* soapbox now...

Just a very quick update on the M20B25 Motronic conversion..

It's alive! The beast lives!!!

Many thanks to Ben and Tommi for all their hard work yesterday, still a few things to do but at least there's no more wiring to worry about. I'll post pics and a vid soon. :D

I'm over the moon, and can't wait to take it for a spin (have to bleed the clutch and brakes first) :D :D :D

 Whoop whoop! Good news! That KFC was well deserved by the sounds of it, I was tempted to come down and do my usual watching but the sofa was much too comfy!

Least we didn't miss Top Gear this time too! When you taking her home?

Well hopefully in time for Christmas! :D

Still got a day or two worth of things to do though - battery relocation to boot and fit air filter, bleed brakes and clutch, oil change, cam belt change, gear box linkages sorted, short shift made etc etc

Not long now though :D
