Off to buy a compression tester and will check out plugs while I have them out.
On the positive side, I'm having plenty of fun tinkering with the car again. Haven't had a "toy" to play with for over 7 months now. Was having withdrawl symptoms!

Tested compression - all OK.
Fixed the cracked vacuum line to idle control. Now will keep running at idle and not stallin.
Got a new windscreen fitted!
Got a massive list of things to do to pass rego/MOT.

Saw Lemonayds 323i @ Pristine. Looks lovely. Has to be one of the cleanest OE+ 323's in the UK now.

I took my 323i for a litlle drive today. It's hasn't been snowing or raining for couple of days so roads are dry and clean. It was a pleasure

Got home from holiday today. Straight out to the garage to make sure the 323i was ok!

Got the 320 out from storage. Not been driven since last April!
I'd quite forgotten how much fun it is to drive in the damp.
Must get the LSD fitted.

Started work on cleaning up the engine and engine bay. Need to impress the inspector, so want it to at least look good.
Part of the oil and dirt I scraped off the subframe before degreasing.
Not quite good enough to eat off, but a load better than what it was.

Started with brake pedal box, master cylinder & servo mods. Goodbye stupid sloppy RHD brake linkage and hello proper brakes. It's going to mean letting in a section of bulkhead from a later BMW but should be well worth the effort. Will be using a smaller remote servo from a Clio or similar. Going to re-use the e12 535 m/cyl for now, although it may change once the whole system is in and bled through. Will get some pics once sorted.
