You know you drive an E21 when....

When the car is dirty, it looks like an ordinary old car, the others don't notice it at all...(e21 fans excluded)
When it's freshly washed+waxed, it turns more heads than the brand new Porsche parked next to it...

(So you have 2 cars in one: One with which you can be incognito and one with which you can turn every head!!!)

That's so true. Went to see a solicitor mate at his practice. Parked my car up to his swanky Gallardo spyder. A couple of guys walked past and I swear they ignored the Lambo and were looking at my car. Nice when my mate with the Lambo said exactly the same thing!

Really?I wouldn't dare to think of it...What I said, I know it is true, but Iwas mainly speaking about more "common" sports cars (a Porsche for example), but a Lamborghini!!!?????
(Ok, not that I have anything against Porsches, actually I prefer them much more than Lambos, however, when you see them side by side, Porsche looks like an ordinary car..)

..........when you have your mind full of improvement projects, so before finishing with one, you start planning the next!!!!!!!!!!!

...........when you don't stop looking for parts: Equally for replacement parts and for improvement parts!!!!

Or, could say in a different way: When everybody else having an old car are looking for replacement parts as they get rare, you are still looking how to improve yours!!!!

... when you turn the radio down to try and pinpoint where the hell that noise is coming from.

...when you have an endless list of jobs to get done on the car, and when you finish them, you have to start at the beginning again :/

Lamborghinis are much more common in Manchester these days compared to E21's (blame the VAT fraud boys, footballers and property developers), so yes even though I'm sure most people would rather want a lambo (including myself) the E21 is rarer On that point then...

Ok, so this gave me another idea:
.........You know you drive an E21 when all your friends stand and stare at that Lambo (put whatever make you like here) parked out of the pub nest to your car and you are the only one not having eyes but for your car!!!!

When you're passed by an E63 6-series racing a Z3m Coupé (that carbon wrap one that been featured in the BMW mags, natch) round Old Street last night and the first thing you think is 'gee, it's you modern BMW drivers that give the rest of Bimmerkind a bad name...
