No with the welded diff he could still drive. We took the broken shaft off completely for the drive home.

like i said driveshafts are the weakest point on e21 drive trains........ e30 rear end coming soon!

all fixed now and drifting all over the place
diff is a little bit rattly now but its all in the name of fun
