Hey Gerrit, I live 2km from Zolder, so I drive in and out most of the time. If you are in Zolder the next time, give me a call so you can come to my place for a chat and a drink ;-)

little update. In the beginning I rebuilded my stainless steel Scorpion E30 exhaust to fit the E21. But It was to loud (because of the cheap stainless steel silencers in the back) Now the sound is great with an centre 325i silencer.

As you can see, no great update, but the sound now is amazing! For me, one of the best changes till now.

Ordered some parts, so will be continued :D

Ok, long time no update. But there changed a lot. I'll start where I left off last time. I still wassn't happy about the filling of the arches in front, so I decided to add 1.5 cm double bolted spacers. But with the K-Mac's at max. negative camber and the 215/40/17 Bridgestone's it was a no go. Bought some new rubber: Kuhmo 205/40/17 and yes, it was a perfect fit! No rubbing and the arches were fully filled!

I also painted the platework under the doors in Alpine Weiss, so the contrast with the front bumper was smoother

next step: engine
the cambelt was already 7 years on the engine (only 30.000kms) so it was time to replace this one. The camcover sealings where also leaking and I was tyred off still cleaning up the polished one, so I replaced it with a red one and new sealing. Also new oil and filter, new Bosh WR7DC's and a new alternator belt.

moved the coolant reservoir to a less visible place, painted it black and polished the filler cap:

Moved the BMC air filter from the front of the grille into the grille

after:

as you can see on the last picture I cleaned the complete engine room and hood.

Next step, traction! I noticed that traction really was a problem for my M20B27 so a Limited slip differential was a must have. But the prices off these things where secondhand so expensive I decided to buy the good stuff and all new!
Quaife ATB limited slip differential:

I must say, best improvement on the car till now!

Engine and suspension was now all new and ok, time to change the original interior for something that matches the racy outside.
