320/6 1979 Arktisblau

Original 320/6 from 1979. I imported the car from France last year. Bought it from the first owner. I have no records of its history (they don't seem to keep that in France ;)), but I know it's not been fiddled with. I wanted to sell it, but not any more. Some details:
  • 13" BBS alloys
  • Rear pop out windows
  • Original yellow headlights
  • Sunroof
  • Manual 4 speed gearbox
  • Electric left mirror
  • Original radio/cassette player
  • Vinyl interior in exceptional shape
  • Solid body, no holes
  • 113000 km
The car was resprayed once, but apparently they used the wrong colour, so you can't see the Arktisblau metallic. That's why I'm planning a respray. I don't know when that will happen, but it will ;)
I also have some upgrades: sport steering wheel, lowering springs, 5 speed overdrive gearbox, with 15" BBS and front fog lamps on their way, and perhaps a rear spoiler ;)
Front spoiler is also planned, but I don't know which one yet. I have a Hartge spoiler lying around here, but I like the BBS and Alpina as well.

Enough of my babbling, here are the pics ;)

Very nice car there. The colour is great as it is - and it is in good order as well. The late 70s features are nifty too, like the electric drivers mirror (as opposed to 'electric mirrors'). Vinyl interior and a four speed too :D !

It sounds rare, and with those kays, you did right to decide to hold onto it!

Happy motoring

Looks very, very nice! To qoute Jeroen: A good buy!

The colour can't be too far off, or am I wrong? I have a friend with an Arktisblau e24 6'er which looks quite similar.

Indeed, I simply can't sell it because I love it, with those 70s features you named. Regarding the colour, it looks lighter when you see it in real life.

Well, to be honest, I've edited the pictures with Photoshop, things like increasing saturation and contrast. I like to spice up my photos sometimes ;) The colour may look like Arktisblau in the pictures above, in real life it's quite a bit lighter.
Thanks for the compliments ;)
