Anyone going? At the GP track of the Nurburgring, great event! I will be there all three days.

You can see photos from last years' OGP here

Note: historic F1 and group C racing take turns. As you can see on last years pics they had the group C cars, so this years it's historic F1. Saw that in action in 2006 and it's well worth going again!

I'll go again this year , what would be the best day out of the three to see the e9s and other bmws from that era . Have you got a race timetable yet.

Last year I went on the foggy Saturday . Maybe i'll meet up with you for a beer if you fancy it as I don't think I will see you at Lelystad this year due to the crazy banning of the E21s ?

Also is this oldtimer show in Zandvoort worth going to in September , is it bigger than Lelystad.
Best wishes
Paul

Madhatter & Paul,

Would be great to meet up, especially if you're travelling from far away Australia!

Programme is not available yet but usually it's the same for Sat and Sun, Friday is a little more basic I believe (like in 2006 there was the FXX demo in Sat and Sun).

Meaning the E9's will be -at least- in action both Sat and Sun and I would love to meet up for a beer or two one of these days.

Regarding the weather, doesn't matter what country you visit, the weather is always great until Paul turns up :? like that foggy day that was highly unusual, expect sunshine and temperatures over 25 degrees this year!

Zandvoort might be a great event, not only BMW but quite a lot BMW's. We're also trying to plan a meet around August 28.

Jeroen ,
Saturday and Sunday it is then , bring an umbrella as I am definately coming. Have you bought your tickets yet or did you pay at the gate .
Also whats the best viewing point . I was near the bridge next to the car parking .

What have you guys organised in place of Lelystad ? I think you should all still come in your E21s and park in the car park outside and have your own show as a protest.

Just to let you know that there is no support for this banning by the Dutch 2002 club from the English 2002 forum , we all think it's a big mistake.

Good!

Where ru staying? We booked a beautiful place abt 20 mins from the Ring that has good food and drinks too

I usually spend a lot of time at the Castrol S at the end of the straight, lot of sweet drifting going on there  but I also move around... the privileges of the press card.

E21 meet in NL
We regret not being welcome at the 02 club meet as we see a lot of similarities but we also understand their wish to go back to basics more. But we haven't set a date yet, aiming for Aug 28 but will have to see. Also we want to meet up at the National Oldtimer Festival at the Zandvoort track Sept 26.
