Here's a first glance of my lovely mint 320 (Auto) which is heading for a full upgrade. It's great to be back in an E21!!!

I'm in Fritz' capable hands for the revamp and I tend to agree it's almost too good to convert - but it will really benefit from the 240bhp promised! Of course everything else from brace to brakes to LSD and Alpina Alloys (already sourced from Germany).
Meanwhile I was the (probably foolish) buyer of this:

...but that's awaiting closer inspection for tin-worm.

this is the car i saw down there about 6 weeks ago if i'm not mistaken. it's going in for either an M50 or M52, but i cant remember which. it looked pretty tidy but a small amount of rust around the bottom of the passenger door IIRC, but that may have been another car
will be an interesting conversion, as that's the one i want to go for!!
send my regard to both the richards' and ollie down there

320: I'll post more once Richard's plan is certain. He's also convinced me to go for his full stainless system and to be his guinea pig for stainless manifold too. I hope he's not reading this because he's such an expert (and I'm so hooked) that I'm a sucker for anything he proposes! I'm also thinking of a long range tank from Walloth. Also just must have some leather recaros - but as I'm keeping the green (trying to convince myself I like the interior colour but not good with a hangover) I'm uncertain how to deal with this.
323i Baur: Is an automatic. Mrs Philco will be the lucky owner if this turns out to be worth restoring - this is of course the foolproof, if expensive way to get the trouble & strife involved - so I fear it may have to stay an Auto. (

). Big question is how far to go with this one.

Way back in the late '80's this was my pride & joy...But see those foglights? I'm sure they can't have been BMW parts but i do remember they were handy if not so pretty. Anybody have suggestions for fitting foglights?[/img]
