In the run up to this years shows I have been trying to trace as many UK cars as I can. I've posted ''wanted'' signs on some UK forums and Classic Car Weekly are running an article next week.
Anyway, I thought you might like to see John & Margaret's 316 which they've had since it was new. The paid extra for the twin headlights! Never had ANY restoration of any kind. 100% original.
Hopefully, I'll post more pictures of cars as I find them.
This is a newly restored 323 Baur I spotted a mile up the road on a driveway.
This 1978 car was spotted last week in Camden.

There's a black one parked up in a driveway in Bowker Vale, Manchester. Looks in reasonable condition, I'll investigate further next time I walk up there.

I used to know someone who had one of those with a Gordini turbo lump in it. Freakin' death trap!

I had the LHD version of the Gordini turbo at the same time. Torque steered like a MoFo but quick for a 1400 with no intercooler or anything. Just tinny French crap though really.

I drove my brothers old Gordini, love it but the rear arches slowly turned to powder. Got me used to dealing with dog-leg first gearboxes though...

Back to e21's there's two parked on Middleton road in Crumpsall near my work. Do you want to do a flyer of some sort that we can stick on the windscreen of cars we spot??

You are very near to the hospital - I work in the A&E department - but I tend to do a rat run down Vic ave and tweedle hill/chapel lane. I'm indoors all the time at work so rarely see cars outside!
Will have to come round one day and have a look, problem being that when at work I have two kids in the nursery, maybe next time I'm on at the weekend I'll view your motor!

Haha i was driving home to see parents today and swore I saw an e21 turn a corner...only saw the back end as she went, so was like ooooh follow it! Did a rather fast turn and bombed down the windy lanes trying to catch it...and alas it was an e30...
was still very nice though and the detour was a scenic route home with windows down and music loud...got myself a nice truck drivers sunburn (right arm only)!
