Tractor's 320

Hi guys, just joined tonight looks like a great site. I'm new to E21s but have a collection of E30s in various states of repair. I saw this and thought I would save it as the elements weren't being kind. I picked it up yesterday. It's an 1982 320 in Sapphire blue with a few extras such as power steering, sunroof, headlamp wash wipe, rear headrests, extended tool kit. rear opening quarters and elec windows. It came with 2 folders of paper work including original invoice for £8516 and all mots. It's been off the road and sitting outside for 4 years so it was pretty green when I started to it. It needs a wing and the door tidied. The first pic is after it had a good power wash the rest are before.

Cheers, really enjoying working on this car as the rest of my projects are E30s it's a nice change. The extra dials have been fitted by the first owner and are VDO oil pressure, oil temp and volt metre which have been very well fitted and still work. I couldn't believe when I opened the tool kit and it was full even the blue cloth, I didn't realise it was a bigger kit just thought they were all like that until I came on here, these e21s are all new to me 8)

awsome buy there. 4 years parked up seems to have been kind to it.
have you had chance to poke round underneath it?

Welcome mate. Good buy!! Looks much better after a quick wash and liking the extra gauges too. Where abouts are you?

What's the yellow thing on bottom right of dash?

Nice one! Looks in great condition for something that's been out in the rain for 4 years.

Cheers guys. yes it's a hammer to break the window with. I've had a good poke around underneath and it's in very good nic, compared to some of the E30s I've bought. I've taken the drivers wing off and welded 2 small patches just below the drain hole. I've striped the interior out to get a look at the floor and power wash the carpets which I need to dye as you can see from the pics, any ideas where to get blue carpet dye? Will get a few more pics up soon.
