No you need the Omex 710 to run wasted spark on a 6 pot. Think the 500 can only do two coils.

The guys @ Northampton Motorsport suggested the 700 and said it was ideal for the m20.

lol ive just googled it and read that.
yeah the 500/600 only has drivers for 4 cyl.
on with the search for a management system that doesnt cost close to a grand.....
guna buy the management first for my turbo project as that'll be the most expencive bit to buy.
id run the motronic with a maf conversion, but i wana do it properly.....

got a couple of hundred saved from fiddle jobs ive been doing of late.
done a pair of front shocks and rear brakes on a fiat bravo this weekend.... £50.

whichever management you go for don't forget it might cost you loads to get it mapped properly too.

I just remembered these guys do a set-up that I spotted in PPC magazine. Might be worth you checking out?
http://www.canems.co.uk/index.htm
This was their response when I mailed them about a kit for an m20 2.5.
Hello Mark,
Sorry for the slow response this time...
The ECU kit (which includes software, pc connection, manual and harness
connector) is £429.95
Semi assembled looms are available at £49.95 which makes wiring much
simpler - all colour coded wiring and pre-connected at the ECU - so it's
just a case of connecting the wires to your sensors / power supply.
I can throw in a MAP sensor free of charge with an ECU kit if you'd like
to go that way.
Recorded, tracked delivery on a system is £9.95
Where abouts in the country are you? Hopefully I can recommend a dealer
that has worked with the systems before.
Kind regards,
David Hampshire

I don't know anything about the tech side really but I do know that a few people that have used them have been very happy with the results. They worked well on a Triumph straight six so can't see any reason why it wouldn't be just as good on an m20.
