Here is an extremely memorable piece of footage where 5-time world champion, Juan Manuel Fangio, aged 66, races against Sir Jack Brabham. The 4 lap 'demonstration' was run after the Australian Grand Prix at Sandown in 1978. With Fangio in his W196 Mercedes Benz and Brabham in his Repco Brabham, a car 12 years newer than Fangio's.
You can take the racer out of the car...
