Hi everyone, my name is Severin
I present my BMW 320 M10 4cyl engine from 1977
My favorite hobby,
I bought the car two years ago.
In the first year I ridden this old wreck only once a month, after one year I decided to restore this beautiful car, maybe not 100% as new, but certainly better and safer than it was.
I live in Bedford, but I'm Polish immigrant who no matter where I live, passion for this model, BMW will never pass away.
On the farm I rented a room in which I could realize the dream and started to work on the car
Below I put some pictures of my BMW.
( Sorry but my English is also waiting for improvement ;) )

Do not ask me why I decided to send my BMW to Poland
They kick me out of the farm, so I decided instead to rent a garage in the UK which is very expensive, to send a car to my friend
Maybe the reason is that I trust only one man, who can restore my car :) I don`t know :)
I hope that the car will be ready in a few months
New brakes, new lowered suspension, new gearbox and clutch, new exhaust system, new engine accessories and many other parts waiting for assembly. Unfortunately, all the upholstery is in very poor condition, needs carpet, seats, headliner.
Completely new leather upholstery made to order in Poland costs 1000 pounds. Time and my pocket, will show whether I decide to take that step
Cheers ;)
Severin

Hi Severin, welcome here! Car didn't look that bad at first sight but clearly it was good to do something on the car now, before she's lost. looks like a thorough job... keep it up and keep us posted!

Excellent work there, once your friend has sprayed it it will be a beautiful car.

If you still have your old carpet it may be possible to dye it back to a good colour. If not one will turn up eventually - I think W&N had some new ones a while ago but they might have been expensive.

Thanks but this is impossible, someone spilled engine oil on the carpet, after several years oil destroyed the carpet, as well as acid :(
Carpet broke into pieces when pulled out from the car, nothing left to save
