will the front or/and rear seats from an e12 fit an e21? are they infact the same things?
i know the e30 seat will but the rear doesn't fit properly and i would prefer as origional as possible

my biege interior is a disgrace, i need more options

Don't think E12 will have tilting seats so you won't be able to get in the back, or for that matter be able to get in there to bolt them in properly!

Rotten E24's are easy to find (ask how I know if you must, see signature!), they often have nice leather recaro's in the front. the rear seats can be made to fit I believe, but clearly wouldn't count as original.
