twin weber inlet manifold ??

hi all,

i have some twin webers sitting doin nothing and i have been offered a inlet for a 2002 engine.

will the inlet fit my m10 1.8 engine ?

It will fit fine. You may need to do a bit of porting to get the inlets matched to the manifold.

dont bother with the porting just buy yourself an e30 m10 head and an facet fuel pump or a 2002 head if you can find one cheap.

bigger valves will work better with the webbers

Will run better, but will be very thirsty.

Ive recently ported an E30 head, running with fully matched inlet and twin dellorto 40's.
Standard cam. Has 130ish at the wheels, but doesnt really get fun until 4000rpm, and with spirited driving i can watch the fuel needle drop.

Currently taken to spending my time getting the girlfriends 106 diesel head gasket & injectors sorted so i can use it for any trips that dont involve roundabouts.

come to letchworth........... its home of the uk's first roundabout. make sure you come with a welded diff though as i have laid a fair amount of rubber on it and its quite grippy now :)
