That's right and he car is on display in the BMW Museum in Mnich from time to time. There are some other sweet exotics they never made but they do have prototypes in a dusty corner somewhere. E23 7-series with V12, E34 convertible, ...

And is it true, did it have a B pillar (or however is the middle column called in english), while the other editions did not?
(I guess this was for better body stability reasons?)

i have a sparkplug from a mclaren f1 gtr car at home iin somerset somewhere, its got gold in it and costs around £200 each!! back in the day when my dad used to work for the mclaren f1 gtr race team
