If you fit solid lifters in it from an m6 then instead of turboing it why not rev it to 8500 rpm with a set of carbs? would make epic sounds then and have lots of yummy power

Sorry guys only got this picture from my phone! I did take more on my girlfriends camera and haven't got the patience to try and get them on. Its taken me about a hour, to get that one off my phone. More tomorrow.

Well, the car is in much better condition than I was expecting. The sills will need patching up, or if I can get some I might replace the whole sill. Also the bottom of the front drivers wing is a bit rusty. The underside and in the boot all look good.
I bought a battery on the way home and guess what...it turns over! Going to give it a proper try in the morning, after cleaning things up and putting some fresh fuel in.
The interior is grubby, and the seats are a bit knackered. Do e30 seats fit?
I will up date tomorrow.

You can modify the bases/runners and make them fit but if you are going to do that you might as well fit Recaros or BMW sports seats. I have a pair of black leather Recaros but someone did put dibs on them. If they pull out tho...

Anyway, it looks pretty good from the photo. You could always run a mop over the paint and see if you can freshen it up a bit?

A quick mop & polish will have that looking sweet!! Scuttle, doors etc all look really solid. How much - if you don't mind us asking?

Big news guys!! Its running!

I bought some new plugs, took off the dizzy cap cleaned up the contacts and got a spark at the plug. Although I did break a plug lead pulling them off. Ordered a new set at price of £100!!!
There was no fuel coming through, but after lots of turning the car over, pouring petrol in the carb and a little easy start it started pumping fuel and then fired up!
We ran it for a good 15mins and it got warm and more or less stayed at the right temperature.
There is an oil leak at the front of the engine. But before looking at that, I'm going to sort the brakes. In strapping down the car I managed to break the brake pipe at the back, where it goes into the brake cylinder. And also the front near side caliper is siezed on.
Also polished it a bit and its come up pretty good. Will get more pic ASAP.

I paid £410, for those who were asking.

Do e30 brakes fit? Was thinking about putting discs on the back. And an up grade up front would be nice.

Hi. I've decided not to sell the little beauty! The welder came and looked at it, and has given me a price of £200-£250 to do all the welding that it needs!! That's half what I thought! So it's booked in for next week! I'm going to pay someone to do the rest of the work to get it you to MOT. Now all I need to do is to sell my Golf VR6, anyone fancy one?!

I'll get some pics up as soon as I get it back from the welder.
