Hello everyone!
I have read the forum for quite a long time but somewhy I hadn't made a topic from my E21...corrected that mistake now :P

I'm from Estonia(same where Nuga) and I have worked on my E21 project for over 5 years.

Originally the car looked like this:

And after painting:

The car had a full bodywork, even the roof was changed, beside painting the underside got coated and from the beginning I took a promise not to put any rusty, dirty or bad looking parts back to the car. Thatswhy all the nuts, bolts, screws, brackets etc where galvanized. Most of the other parts got sandblasted and painted, some parts just thoroughly cleaned. Also bought as many new parts as I could(as my wallet provided).

"Some" pics of the assembly:

The spec list is quite big and I am not going to mention it at the moment, going to post it later.
This summer I got the car running and the first test drive was to the Estonian classic BMW meet. The car made its "first steps" just hours before that :D
Overall I am VERY pleased with the car but it is far from ready, I have quite big plans for this winter.

And that is how it looks right now:

Beautiful car! I love it when a car is restored to a condition better than new 30 years ago :launch
The roof looks great too, are the check control and sun visors from an E30?
I also like the single headlight look on this one, makes it look more aggressive.

Thank you all! The roof lining and BC are from E30 but ofcourse the BC doesn't work, planning to replace it with something more useful. The roof lining is for electric sunroof, made a conversion using E30/E21 parts. The rooflining itself is custom made black leather.
Wheels are Rial 15x7, planning to polish the lips on them.
I am also a big fan of the single headlight because I think it's more agressive too, beside that 2 single headlamps light up the road much better than 4 small lamps.

Meanwhile I completed the bodywork for the front of the car. The reason why I had to redo the bodywork was that guys who did the last bodywork were doing a great job but in the end they got really busy and so the front of the car was done quite poorly. Also I had unused mountings under the hood because of the M50 conversion.

The first thing was to strip down the front end as much as possible. After that did a thorough check to find all the rust. And then it was a busy week doing all the welding. I also modified the front panel to get more clearance between the radiator and the engine. I also added some strenght to the front end. After I finished with the welding my friend carried on with primering, pre paint bodywork and painting itself. I am very pleased with the result, now I have to start assembling 8)
